Ok So I Aspirated!?!

Ok with yesterdays shot I pulled the plunger back a little and got nothing but a little air bubble. So I injected. When I pulled it out shit did it bleed for a second. I was using 21g 1 1/2 long dart. Did I hit a vein? I got air like I was supposed to. Granted I know I am poking a hole in my body. Some blood is exspected.

It sounds like you aspirated fine. Just dont move the needle around a whole bunch while pushing the plunger down. Sometimes you just bleed a little after pulling it out. Sometimes you don't bleed at all. With a 21 gauge, expect a few drops of blood from time to time.

You very well could of intersected a vein in the process of injecting. It's not uncommon. As long as when you aspirated you didn't have blood rush in, it's all good.

As the needle travels through your flesh it has the ability to damage blood vessels before reaching its final non-vein position for injection. When you pull out you're getting blood from this rupture.


People call this phenomenon of nature "stabbing through a vein"

I had this teacher in high school, he taught us more shit about life than anyone. Anyway, he told us that guys should donate blood every now and then because we don't have a natural "Cycle" like women do every month. He said it is good for the body to "Rebuild" new blood cells instead of running the same old crap over and over through your body. Kind of like changing the oil in your car.

yea you probably passed through a vein... as long as u dont inject into it then you are fine...

I find if you leave the needle in for 10 seconds or so after, then pull out slow I get no blood at all. But yes theres always a chance for a drop of blood, your are pushing a metal pin through flesh

LMAO (you need to bleed every once in a while).. that is good I don't know why I laughed so hard at that, maybe it's because my leg hurts so FUCKING much after yesterdays shot. But, I agree giving blood always made me feel good in the following days.
