i'm going to be in the graphic design field so i need a good one... but i don't have the money to spend on the camera... so i need a mid-priced one that will be good because i'm spending money i don't have on this...

it needs to be at least 2 megapixels and be good in all different light levels. any manual features are greatly appreciated. suggestions? specific brands/models?

has a 3x zoom and is 2.1 megapixels.

what is considered midpriced to you? I am thinking of gettting the olympus c700 (izzat right?) and it goes for around $600. it has 10x zoom, 2.1 or higher megapixel range and a buttload of manual features. looking in to getting that in couple of weeks

Olympus makes good Digitals at many price ranges.
Their Lenses are good and the features are fair even on the lower end models.
