Alright all you conservative mouthpieces of the chatboard -- I am curious to know what you thought of Kerry's acceptance speech? Also, how do you think Bush will respond?
odd that no one wants to claim the title of "conservative butthole" today, huh casual
I do find it odd that with all the rhetoric with every single day, every single event, there is not a single comment on kerry, bush falling in the polls, the likelihood of bush's lack of eloquence being a major problem right now, etc, that there is no comment from the rabid republican brotherhood on the chat board. I am actually a registered republican myself casual, and some know that, but bush having only 80-88% approval of his own party in most polls yesterday must be concerning. I really wonder what the active campaign strategy for the g.o.p. is going to be, since resting on laurels has been the only thought so far. I think people are still processing everything, but comments will come, I'm sure.
Kerry's speech was too long and he didn't seal the deal for the Dem's presidential hopes in any way. The GOP isn't resting on it's laurels IMO. Just business as usual for this administration. Bush gives his opposition enough time to turn blue in the face with their outrageous claims on his character and his presidency and his intellect. BTW, speaking of intellect, anyone know that Bush had better grades at Yale while having an active social life than Al "I am such an intellectual" Gore did at Harvard? Gore failed out of divinity school and law school. Bush has an MBA from Harvard. Man I hate it when Bush's intellect is questioned. Pet peeve. Don't know about Kerry's academic record.
Anyways, so Bush and Company end up hanging the Libs with the rope they've been stringing out.
