Ohio Gov. Bob Taft IS daft!

The state of Ohio has spent almost $11 MILLION dollars on renovations in the past 2 years at a Lima prison scheduled to close July 1, records show. THAT INCLUDES 5 MILLION ON WORK STILL UNDERWAY!

In addition, the state spent more than $1.1 Million on renovations at Apple Creek, a mental retardation development center, which now will be closed in three year's to save money!***Wanna guess what was said about this?:" It makes sense to do the maintence work you need to do till you get some return on your investment". Gee...I guess they plan on making this place into high price condo's or something?!

The state has sunk millions of dollars into the Lima prison as part of a settlemet of a 1993 lawsuit brought by inmates alleging poor conditions.

Workers continue to renovate the heating and ventilation systems, spending about $4.8 million before the prison closes in July.

Now they are going after the education system for cuts to balance the budget. Hmmm...I was under the impression that the lotto was being used to help fund our education system..Where is that money?

I believe you could do better.
Simply because you would not be a politician, whose main
goal is to get re-elected vs actually doing what is right.

Sometimes politicians must do the right thing, instead of
the popular thing.

Years ago, I watched them put up several new hi rise bldgs at the Orlando Naval training base
AFTER they decided it was to be closed.
The Navy had signed contracts to buid them and it was cheaper to complete vs break the contract.

These same bldgs along with all the rest were recently demolished and houses are going up

[email protected] in Toledo they are pissing and moaning about the Victoria Secret's window poster's. Seems that some of the ladies think they are too risky. A group of ladies are picketing outside the store to have the poster's REMOVED! They claim the ad's are degrading to women! GIVE ME A BREAK!

I laughed as I walked by them the other night in the mall!

Don't think I'd get the women's vote!
