i think 15 or so metres is the optimal distance to scare the crap out of people. if you go super high (like on a mountain) your brain doesnt register the enormity of the drop and youre somehow less scared. when youre 15 or so metres up, you can still see detail on the ground, and just know that youd go splat if you fell

I rode a ride called Drop Zone at Carowinds amusment park over the weekend.

Basically you get lifted high into the air then dropped. Magnets slow you to a stop starting around 30 feet from the ground.

I was stoned. It was fun.

the homosexual undertones and death defying nature of this recreational activity was breathtaking.

i did the skycoaster at oldtown while trippin.. the worst part is that they have you pull the cord to release yourself. the first second is freefall then its all arc and not too bad..
