I haven't been to the dentist in like 5 years. I never found one in Toronto and now I think I am having an issue with one of my wisdom teeth the one side of my jaw/cheek is swolen. :worried: You think this will go away on it's own? :worried:

uh oh

how old are you?? lol sorry for asking but the older you are then the better the chances that the roots of your wisdom teeth have grown deeper into your lower jaw. Not sure about the upper jaw though

damn honey. go to the dentist. Did you know that excess plaque or infections can lead to heart disease and other major health problems? Take care!

is it your upper or lowwer wisdom tooth?
Lower last time I was at the dentist the told me that my mouth was big enought to fit all my wisdom teeth :D LOL Shit I really don't want to go :worried: If they take it out in stuff will I still be able to train? I can't afford to be out the gym right now. :worried:

If they only take one out, you should give it a day or two, but you should be okay.

I had all four of mine taken out at once, and was out for, like, almost a week.

:cow:

i hope your roots havent grown into the lower jaw bone, in case if you need it pulled it would be a more difficult extraction.
ur 27 so I think u should be alright if it needs pulled.
Im 21 and pry need mine pulled before the roots get too deep even though they are not causing any crowding

I got mine pulled and they both broke all the roots off. They had to do oral surgery on me while I was awake then. Even still, I waited about an hour and then went back to law school. It very much is an individual thing. YOu would only be out a couple days if any, I would think. It isn't bad at all.

Want to workout together?

Dentists very rarely prescribe percs.

I got some codeine and was told to buy some advil, lol.

:cow:
I got vicodin when I got mine done.

Fuck, he gave me a valium drip(which was awesome) the told me to take a perc every 4hrs and advil............I went home and ate a banana , and some jello and then went to look at the mirror and realized i hadnt even swallowed the damn food.lol

THe doc who removes wisdom teeth around here hands out perc like there candy.

Really? It seems rare in WI and IL... at least where my family's been (my mother's had lots of dental work, root canals, etc.). The only time I've gotten percs is after major surgeries for a tumor, lol.

LOL, my mouth was so full of gauze that I couldn't even move my tounge, let alone try to eat any solid food.

I've heard that getting one's wisdom teeth removed can vary drastically -- not sure to what extent it's true -- but mine bleed like bloody hell. Even moving around much (like, umm... walking around the house) caused more bleeding for the first several days. It got better pretty quick, though.

You are the worst bitch on EF, by far.

hard to say because it has been 5 years.

there will be the new patient exam, the full mouth series of radio graphs, the cleaning then dealing with the source of the problem.

at least $500 and a few appointments.
