official rap sucks thread

Ok.. i like SOME R&B and some rap songs... But, why the fuck do so many rap songs make no sense? And why do so many songs coming out now have basically the same lyrics and the same beats just a few different words? I can listen to the local rap station and there are so many songs that sounds just a like and half of them make NO sense. They make up words just so they rhyme but in the process make a stupid ass song w/ no meaning...

I was a fan of rap in highschool. These days nothing that comes out is any good.

Jay-Z is the only good rapper left.

R&B stuff is still good.
