Official Elite Haiku Thread For Today

don't plan on writing a haiku
everyone is different
'cause some of us can't count
even i make those mistakes, well
maybe not

love is a strange and wonderful thing
it is a feeling we all must cherish
christian love, buddhist love, hindu love, etc, but on an even
keel that doesn't overwhelm too much
sometimes it can change lives

but yet, it can cause a great deal of hurt
as soon as it gets out of hand
like i said though, it's all about balance
love is a two way street as well
so is friendship
 
you can't just up and change the rules
original.. this thread was going to be original
up in the tens of thousands of posts we'd had

damn you girly.. damn you to hell
i am sorta, kinda, somewhat
relieved though, my fingers
they were sore from counting
you know 5,7,5.. 5,7,5..

i still don't think anyone will ever
truly understand the deep
connection shared by the likes of
happy, smalls, addickt, raina, and myself.
 
holy shit this day has sucked so bad
over the course of the day, nothing has gone right
was gonna go to the gym today, but nope

damn managers have wasted my life away
or it sure as hell feels that way.

my fucking job sucks major ass and I want a different one.
your job probably sucks too, so I shouldn't talk

but at least I have one right?
and I get paid, pretty well.
last few weeks have sucked major nuts, but a
long time prior to that was sitting around
so much wasted talent here

tonight I gotta get home and buy groceries
all the shit I got wasn't enough last time
so off through shitty traffic I gotta go just
to get some fucking food
every week this is the same old shit

don't worry, tomorrow's another day
in one ear out the other i say
dry humour can also relieve stress
nonetheless, work can be stressful
try to relax though

love who you are
instead of focussing on that which you dislike
cry if you need to
killing is not the alternative!

try to think of what you do like at work
however, don't forget to try to change what is not working
even if it means going out on a limb
most people will respect you for that
 
pouring down outside right now.
rain always makes for a nice commute home.
on the bright side, I get to go home.
back tomorrow assuming I'm not laid off.
and then I get some new task that will be passed on.
better than nothing at all.
like some of my friends and my folks.
yesterday sucked, today sucked... hopefully tomorrow will be great.

something tells me that it won't though.
always optimistic, that is me.
laugh, and the world looks at you funny.
those are good words of advice.

try to think more positively
have a laugh, make something funny
at least see the positivity amongst all the negativity
the key is to be satisfied at least
stop dwelling on what's bad

yellow is a positive colour
orange involves hunger
umber is a good colour to paint with
red can be love, sex or anger

colours really reflect mood
unless you realise how they affect you
magenta should be your colour because it's typically gay

any post in haiku fashion is quite welcome
probably most should be in that form
put into three lines.. three lines that
yearn for nothing more than rhyming meter
simply cannot.. they simply cannot have it though

but.. they also must contain the 5,7,5 syllable form
and they can be about what ever subject you desire
lambs and jesus or god and goats
lampoons and flames or just simple little
statements..
