It depends on the quality of the relationship I suppose. I met my wife in the workplace. We've been married now for 2 years and worked together for 6. We're best friends so we have no problems being with each other 24/7.

it maybe a recipe for disaster, but according to statistics-the majority of the population meets their mate in the work place or in the same field....when you spend 8-10 hours a day at your employment (some more than that) you are bound to draw the attention of someone who you are attracted to...where do most "affairs" occur from?...the work place...

Interesting soo it can work and should not really matter, where u meet the person, all that should matter is how u two feel about each other

The girl I have been dating for over a year now works for the same company but in another building about 30 miles away. We dont see each other everyday but I am there sometimes once a week and we do have lunch together those days.

For the first 3 months we kept it hush-hush just so neither of us would feel uncomfortable and then slowly people started realizing something was up and we opened up about it.

From personal experience I would not recommend it, but I suppose in a small number of cases it could theoretically work. The work environment just creates another stress on the relationship and sometimes if you spend too much time with the person you’re seeing it can take away from the joy of seeing them on the weekend. Then if you brake up, remember you will see this person every day after. Keep all this in mind.
