Off Topic Question

First off – I know this probably isn’t the right forum to post this to…but I’m not sure which forum would be.

Ok, until recently, I hadn’t been on elitefitness.com for some time - almost 2 years (a combination of school/work/personal loss resulted in weight training being dropped down a few rungs on my priority list)…Now that I am finally back into the fray, I have started browsing Elite again. Here’s my problem: now when I try to log into my old elitefitness email, it says that the username is invalid. After initial problems, I got my old username to work on the forums (stupid mistake on my part - I was trying the wrong password). However, I am still unable to log into my old email. It simply says that the “user does not exist”. I know that the two (forum user vs. email user) are probably separate, and I am assuming that my email was deactivated as a result of not being used for a while, but was wondering if there is ANY way I can that old email re-activated…

Have you tried just re-creating your accounts with the same name you used before? Or is the problem you want the emails in the old account?

My guess would be that your accounts were deleted along with all the emails in them, so you might just want to make a new account.

Bulldog - yeah, I wanted to see if it was possible to get my old account back with the emails and addys I had saved in there (in some cases the only copies of stuff I had). As far as it being deleted - thats what i think has probably happened, but I haven't got an official answer from Elite about it yet (no response to my emails)...I didn't want to re-create the account if there was ANY possibility that my old data could be saved. Probably a lost cause, but I figured I'd throw this out there.

Mods/Admins/Etc - anybody know if I'm screwed?

you need to open new accounts....everything you had on the old one is gone......the get deactivated and deleted due to inactivity.....

gilly6993 - thanks for the response. although I figured this is what the answer was gonna be, I thought I may as well ask around just to be sure. bummer. well, it was worth a shot.
