this is after I paid them $2000 for *ucking computer. HP and Compaq :destroy:

maybe try re-installing.

or try and adjust the frame rate ur games run at. make the screen larger, increase on screen detail? is it just one game tht does this or all of them. just ideas

The game is too fast???? What game are you trying to play?

This kind of thing usually occurs when someone with a faster machine is trying to play one of those old MS-DOS games that were designed to run "just right" on the best machine available at the time. Suddenly machines 1000x faster come out and people get screwed.

If that is the case, there are programs out there that will deliberately slow down your PC so that the game runs slower (i.e. playable).

What game exactly are you trying to play?

What you are saying isn't that uncommon. I heard of games running too fast because the system was way faster than the programmers thought the games would be running on. If this is the case, and with a $2,000 PC it might be, I heard running programs in the background (like photoshop) can help slow things down. With a 500mhz system I don't have this "problem:. :(

Framerate

Configure your frame rate to a lower setting.

Likely has very little to do with your proc speed, unless your playing games from the IntelliVision era.
