Off subject but.... Who here has to work on New Year's Eve and Day???

I unfortunately have to. All I have to say is that my ass is definately not showing in to work on New Year's Day. I will work the day before though since I only work til 7 anyway.

new years eve day just 11-2 afternoon then off at night for new years eve. probably afternoon and night work on new years day. christmas eve same thing....11-2 afternoon only, off at night. then christmas day i will tell them no-no on the afternoon shift....but i'll go into my night time job, no big deal. eve and day after is most important on christmas....not the actual christmas night.

I will be working both I believe. I work most holidays, but being a student I need the money so its not such a bad thing. I'm not much the partier myself. Also since my g/f and I broke up a few months back and I have been so busy with school that I haven't had time to meet anyone else I don't see myself going out New Years Eve. Only thing that sucks is all the DUI checkpoints that are around...think i'll take a company truck that nite, they usually dont bother us when they see the logo's all over it

Gotta work 9:30-6:30 on New Years Eve. Off on New Years Day just b/c that's my normal day off. Not like we're doing anything. My fiance' and I will probably get a bottle of SoCo and party by ourselves. It's too damn expensive and dangerous to be out on a night like that anyways
