Off campus apartment.

anyone here live in an apartment off campus? I am thinking of getting an apartment or renting a house off campus at school. For the people that do this do you live close enough that you can just walk across the street to the campus? If I got a apartment off campus I would want it like right across the street from school so I can get there without driving.

For those that are doing this give me some info or advice.

I live off-campus but not close enough to drive. I live down the block from a bus line that leads directly to school and it is free to students... So if I don't want tot dirve I take the bus....

I live off campus, about a 10 minute drive from school. There is a busline nearby, but the fucking bus comes every 20 minutes, and I can't ever make it to the fucker. There is no parking, and I don't want my car beaten on, so I leave it here. Yesterday I was pissed, so I rode my bike to school, and I got a ticket for parking it in some stupid teacher motorcycle parking area. How many fricking teachers have sport bikes and harleys? There was like one other bike there, and it was a damned moped. Fucking school.
