interesting story...i have had 2 guys tell me within the past couple weeks that i look like a "bacardi" girl (as in the drink)....i laughed it off at first but now i'm like, what the hell is a bacardi girl?

(this was relayed to me by a friend)

my girlfriend is sitting in english class and the professor asks for examples of connotative and denotative words...this one shy kid gets called on and w/a shaky voice proceeds to try and explain the difference....teacher asks for an example of how w/connotative words we can give them our own meaning.... kid chokes and just blurts out..."LIKE HOW WE SAY BEAVER"....whole class just sits there in silence and then cracks up.....my friends said this lady who sits in the front turned around and said, "if i was him I'd never come to class again"....heh
