Obscene hair loss

Wouldn't 1mg ED of Proscar help seeing as he is on test?

proscar (finasteride/propecia/dutasteride/avadart) will stop the test-5ar-dht reduction, but imo, the sexual sides and the gains loss is not worth it. It depends on the purpose and goals of your training. If its for appearence and quality of life (ie feel good, look good, fuck good, :D ) , and MPB is an issue, proscar isn't the answer. Better to use stuff like anavar/EQ even a little deca. Also, a minimum replacement dose of test -say 100 mg or less of cyp weekly should be ok and add to gains without causing hair fallout over normal. However, if goal is to become a mass monster, lots of Test is a must, and the proscar will definately minimize or elim the DHT problem.

If mpb is that serious for you, than how come your not taking finasteride or avodart?? Far more effective and clinically proven than Spiro.

For the money everyone here spends on spiro cream, minoxadil and Azelic acid(sp), they could be on a lifetime dosage of something that actually works.

because finasteride/avodart does nothing for non-5ar reducable androgens (winny/tren/mast/proviron/primo/etc), and actually potentiates hairloss potential of deca.

I've been on a cycle of 400mg EQ and 250mg test enanthate for 3 weeks.

DEEPZEN: IF we're talking about test enathate, finasteride will work wonders.

Geoboy: Who the fuck said anything about tren and winny. He says he is taking test and eq.

Geoboy: Wrong again. There is about 15 clinical studies that may be found on the web that indicate The sexual side effects of proscar are insignificant. It always amazes me when people claim this. It is just nonsense that is passed from one misinformed individual to another.

Deep Zen Pill: For every two people that report sexual sides on finasteride, there are 998 who don't!!! Coming off steroids will kill your libido faster than proscar. Hope this helps.

1) Wrong AGAIN? when was the first time, smart guy?

2) >>" There is (sic) about 15 clinical studies that may be found on the web that indicate The sexual side effects of proscar are insignificant..."

in case you aren't aware of the controversy on the subject, many of the studies showing low percentage of sexual sides are affliated with the drug manufacturer or are flawed. Cruise any Hair loss discussion board or even search here or on Bodybuilding.com. amazing how many of those 2 out of 1000 you cite find their way to these outlets to post their negative sexual sides on proscar. Are all of these people crazy? Most of the bodybuilders especially are very in tune with their bodies.

Have you tried proscar? Except for people who sell proscar or sell advertising to the drug company (Spenser Kobrin sp?), EVERYONE I've spoken with who used proscar has experienced some degree of sexual sides from moderate to major. some transient, some persisting (all cease on cessation of drug). all ignorant i guess. you know better.

anyone interested in proscar/propecia can do the searhes and decide for themselves.

It's only logical. remove/lower DHT, impair sexual functioning. why do you think Proviron (basically DHT) is THE MOST POTENT libido/performance drug we use?

No, coming off steroids that convert to DHT (like testosterone), you know the thing that proscar blocks, will kill libido. guess why smart guy? and going ON steroids that don't convert to DHT (like tren, 1-test) or don't free bound test (like winny) WILL kill libido. guess why one more time.

BTW, "guru's are usually so acclaimed by others, not self-proclaimed. sort of like the difference between sex and masturbation.

I've been on finasteride/proscar for about a year now and NEVER had any sexual side effects....The only problem I'm having right now is that my hair started shedding like a MOFO after my sus cycle(only 250 a week for 8 weeks):( ...Im taking proscar 1mg minox and spiro, and im still shedding:bawling:...Werid part was during the cycle i didn't get any hairloss...

Thanks for all the replies. I really didn't want to reduce circulating levels of DHT because the only problem I'm seeing from it is the hairloss. I was hoping I would see something from the topical route first.

BTW, how long does it typically take to see results from spiro/nizoral if it does in fact work?

I just got a shower and noticed only a few hairs on my hands, but I'm thinking that's probably because I got my hair cut short, so the loss is less noticeable.
