Do you mean the kind meant specifically for making hot cereal, or the more whole form?
I always eat Quaker bran Oat Bran hot cereal. 7g protein, 5g fiber 150 calories per serving. Mixes well with all sorts of stuff because it has no chunks like oatmeal. It also cooks with more water than oatmeal, so it is volumous and good for filling you up on a cutting diet. It has a slightly higher GI rating than that of slow cooking oats (just a few %). Good stuff.
