FitzGerald Investigation Now Looking At Iraq Lies. Now Comes Miller Time.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- The CIA leak inquiry that threatens senior White House aides has now widened to include the forgery of documents on African uranium that started the investigation, according to NAT0 intelligence sources.
This suggests the inquiry by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald into the leaking of the identity of undercover CIA officer Valerie Plame has now widened to embrace part of the broader question about the way the Iraq war was justified by the Bush administration. (my note: iow THE BIG LIE)

Sen Hutchinson, Hypocrite, on the importance of perjury:
Yesterday on MTP: “I hope it's for an actual crime and not some perjury technicality where they could not indict on the crime.”
The Senator’s 1999 view expressed during the impeachment of President Clinton: “The edifice of American jurisprudence rests on the foundation of the due process of law. The mortar in that foundation is the oath. Those who seek to obstruct justice weaken that foundation, and those who violate the oath would tear the whole structure down.”
