NPC Regional Figure Posing???

I was wondering if there are any NPC judges or seasoned figure competitiors who would mind posting the guidlines for posing at the regional level. It's hard to know exactly what to do becuase each level seems to have a different look! Example: side pose: arms at sides- should I turn my upper body, or look straight ahead?? Thanks guys :)

Keep your arms at your side, do not turn your upper body, and definately look strait ahead.
I believe there used to be a video called perfect posing out there.
Good luck at your show.

I stopped judging but I can still remember the head judge at all the shows yelling all that stuff through the mic!

ok thanks! what about during your individual walk outs, is it ok to put your hand on hip for you side poses then...or still keep it straight on?? ohhh one more quick question! lol. how do the judges feel about creases on your butt during your back pose? -i don't have any creases...but i was just wondering :)

in most shows you will walk out as a group and as they introduce you, you hold your arm up. as for quarter turns just make sure you smile and make eye contact with the judges. on your side pose you can drop your outside arm back some if you have a small waist. On your back pose make sure you dont have a gap between your thighs. Posing and stage presence is just about as important as how you look. They keep saying they want a softer look but at most of our shows in the south, but the girls are still pretty hard. Butt creases are not a good thing.lol< Shoulders and glutes are what does it for judges. My wife placed top 5 in jr usa"s and is doing the nationals in Atlanta. shes not on here but any questions pm me.
