Now Imagine if Sarah Palin Had Said This...

Obviously he thinks islands float and arent part of the earths surface
 


He's concerned that we need to improve our Gulf ports in Charleston SC and Savannah GA.

I guess a Community Activist major doesn't involve any geography classes.
 
If Sarah Palin said, that everyone would applaud her for almost getting it right, and actually being able to name 3 US cities.

Obama mis-spoke but he was right that the East coast AND the Gulf coast ports both receive traffic from the Panama canal.

I did laugh until i realized he was an elected government official. Then i laughed again after realizing most government officials arent any smarter

If that were a conservative president, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC and CBS would have all had the same lead story: "Does the President have a geography problem?" And then they would have run the clip at the top of every hour.


Now here's the interesting corollary: Fox News didn't take the bait. Instead of doing a 2-4 day smear campaign on an obvious Barry gaffe, they just kept doing real news.

So yes, let's hear more from our liberal friends about how unfair fox is while the other outlets are so well balanaced.

Obama is just as dumb as Sarah. There's no difference here. "Corpsman", geography tutoring.... Not to mention he needs a lesson in logic and common sense. Sarah isn't any dumber she just had the misfortune of beig white and able to be categorized as a dumb redneck like every other white POTUS. Somehow the mixed race Yale grad isn't held accountable.

You don't like people poking fun at your deity. But in all fairness, most people don't.

There is a mountain of evidence that most news outlets cover for Barry's shortcomings. This is but one of many examples.

There's also a mountain of evidence that Barry isn't nearly as intelligent as advertised. His gaffs are but one aspect of the evidence.

And don't worry about the War on Christmas this year. Barry's War on Jobs and War on Privacy are going so well that we're extending them through the winter months. After all, these are the most successful wars we've waged since WWII.

It's an interesting contrast.

Sarah has a lot of the right answers (but I do disagree with much of her social agenda), but its obvious that she expresses them in a very unpolished and very unsophisticated way.

Barry has all the wrong answers (spectacularly wrong, actually) but he routinely expresses them in a very well-formed, measured way.

There's a true marketing lesson here. Packaging is everything. And the fact that we've shifted to style-over-substance doesn't bode well for a deeply-indebted society that needs to dig its way out of a huge hole.

Its been style over substance for a good while now. If you are attractive and can string a few sentences together eloquently you will fare much better in politics than someone who has great ideas that will benefit the government and the nation, but yet may not be the best looking person, or best communicator.

Palin took 6 years and 5 colleges to get a Journalism degree. Obama has a law degree from Harvard and led the Harvard law review. There is really no comparison. Even GW is a genius compared to Palin.
Fun to pretend Obama is dumb, but you just can't back it up.
 
I don't think Obama is dumb at all...I just hate how everyone blames one guy on what's going on...if another president came in, everyone would hate on him as well...sorry I love America, just sucks how Obama gets shit on all the time..I'm not that educated on politics like you guys though..I admit that.

Putin makes his intentions perfectly clear, then executes his plan.

Barry double-talks and lies, then fucks everything up.

There's really only one consolation is all of Barry's last five years of fucking up: Businesses and the wealthy have learned to develop countermeasures to his policies, as evidenced by corporate earnings, wall street stock values and ongoing concentration of wealth. The people who voted him in are paying the price for his policies. Voters get another chance in three years, but between now and then it's going to be a rough ride.

I can't wait until more of this health care bill kicks-in. Republicans would be crazy to try to defund it. As a matter of fact, they should appropriate 110% funding for the bill under one and only one condition -- that it is implemented as-is. No executive orders, no waivers, no delays. Let's heed Nancy's advice and find out what's really in the bill.

I would have expected you to at least know that college degrees really only prove that someone is good at getting through college.

And here's something else that's hilarious to me. We've been told for 6+ years now about Barry's supposed brilliance. Yet we haven't seen a transcript, an insightful paper... not a single sign of academic exceptionalism. And I'd bet even our libtards here at EF will admit that if something like that existed, most news outlets would make sure we knew about it -- again and again and again and...

Coming from a person from Savannah, GA
Savannah is a shipping town. ALot of the new jobs are with warehouse or transportation. The Georgia Ports is definitely the biggest job creator in Savannah. Savannah is probably the 4th largest shipping container port in the United States despite it having a very low population. Those concerns are valid considering The Georgia Port terminals are a good ways up the Savannah River. I'm sure Georgia Ports have some Ocean port terminals, but I've never seen those. Alot of these terminals are in the Port Wentworth area which is around 20 miles outside of Savannah. Savannah is another 20 miles from the Coast (Tybee Island)

Yes Savannah, Charleston , Jacksonville is not along the Gulf Coast, no shit
The point was that some of these port terminals need deeper water in order to accept higher levels the shipping traffic

I would gauge intelligence based on what someone has *created* and impacted society, such as bill gates, steve jobs, michael dell, etc. Those men have created tangible results in business and industry while impacting peoples daily lives with better technology and providing jobs for who knows how many thousands of people. What the hell has obama done besides be a community organizer (still dont know what that means), graduate from harvard, and hold down a taxpayer funded government job? Obama is a textbook taker, not creator. He takes taxpayer money and shuffles it around, just like everyone else in government of course. The problem is that government is all Obama has ever known.
Obamas only accomplishment (in government) has been Obamacare. And we are now seeing what problems it is causing because Obama doesnt understand how our economy works, and he doesnt understand because of his "government only" mindset.

Yeah, and when Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house, I'm sure you used that as an opportunity to have a broader discussion on US/Russian relations instead of focusing on the gaffe.

I love watching people rationalize situations to fit their own point of view. I have no doubt that in your mind, Palin and Barry's situations are completely different.

Here's the ugly truth: No matter how badly Barry keeps screwing things up, there will be people like you making excuses for him. He's burned-through trillions of dollars and destroyed employment opportunities for an entire band of people. But instead of recognizing his errors and turning the ship, he just keeps doubling-down on the same terrible ideas. At least with Palin, we'd have a fighting chance that she'd discontinue such a disastrously failing philosophy. So who knows? Palin may be smarter than Barry in the first place.
