but he's right in his analysis here...

Jason Whitlock wonders where is the outrage over the Carmel Indiana case - News - FOX Sports on MSN

I think if these kids were even middle or lower income white kids they wouldn't be gettin this kind of treatment, let alone if they were black.

here's the links for the actual case.....

so to what level of violence and unrepentant brutality would y'all take this to if you were these parents?

what those kids did was obscene and gross.

but all i read was black and white. the victims and the accused represent black and white on both sides. so why not just call them kids? there's no need to paint races here. whitlock is a terrible journalist. the issue is that a few kids got assaulted sexually, focus on that rather than the "what ifs" had certain roles been reversed.

I think it has more to do with the social status of those kids than race necessarily. Like I said, I think if these were low income white kids they'd be gettin it way worse. This one is trying to get swept under the carpet for no other reason than who the parents are.

i fail to see anything racist just fuct up hazing/possibly rape

well what whitlock probably wouldn't acknowledge is that if they weren't "rich" white kids they probably wouldn't be gettin this lax treatment. He has a point that the outrage over the jena 6 kids beating up some white kids should pale in comparison to some kids buttraping someone. I think that's what he thinks is somewhat disingenuine. I kind of agree with him. If it hadn't been white kids those black kids beat up nobody would have cared. That case got "alot" of run and I never understood why. And I "really" don't understand why this story isn't getting more national attention if we cared so much about some white kids having having some bruise's on their face. The act in this case certainly has nothing to do with racism as one of the kids is black. It's just the reaction by the justice system to the two individual cases exhibits some troubling dissonance. If I remember correctly they tried to slap felonies on the jena 6 didn't they? Well this is way worse.....like way way way worse.
