Not "just another" Injection Question

Making sure I hit the muscle - injecting into fat and not the muscle;

When you inject in the glute, Am I right in thinking that after the needle penetrates the skin and enters the fat layer, you feel no pain or anything in particular, but once you push it in further, you should feel a dull pain while it enters and remains in the muscle tissue.

Does this sound normal, because now I'm using 23g 1.1/4" pins opposed to 23g 1" as on my first cycle, I did not feel that dull pain when using the 1" pins before. Is it because the pin did not reach the muscle and therefore some of the oil leaked back out?

I get no pain even when I am deeply into the muscle. I shoot with a 25g pin, so I don't know if that will matter.

I use 23 gauge. I never really feel it unless i hit a nerve or something. Sometimes I can feel it poke though the outer muscle covering.

I can't say that I feel any pain but there is a difference in 'feel' when you get into the muscle, it takes just a little bit more 'umph' to push the pin in.

You should not have any problem at all. Personnaly I prefer to inject the quads and delts

Sure, a 1" is probably too small for the glutes, if your ass is really fat then it may never make it to the muscle, I always use 1 1/2" for the glutes.
