North Korea does not have the infrastructure to sustain a campaign against anyone. Nor do they have the force projection to attack anywhere off of the Peninsula. (Well, maybe Japan, China, etc., but maybe not even them.)
Their recent warnings, while frightening, do not constitute a legitimate threat to mainland America, even if they have an atomic weapon or two. I am personally more concerned about an al-Qaeda attack once we being our Iraq invasion. That's another topic. North Korea will be dealt with and probably dimsantled during the Bush Presidency.
Allowing sovereign nations to "go abut their business" is the surest way to hasten the demise of the USA. As much as others dislike it, we need to protect our interests and standard of living, unless you are prepared to give all that up. I am not.
The Vietnam war was a complete success, if you understand that our true objective was to punish the South for rejecting becoming a client state. We destroyed them and they never recovered.
