Hey asstard, both approaches to riding waves are equally awesome. I currently ride an 8'. I'm an East Coaster excited to be somewhere where I CAN ride a shortboard!!!

I surf at La Jolla Shores daily. Started surfing bout 8 years ago but haven't been surfing the whole time. I'm getting back into it now

Shores is an easier break. And I enjoy the drive (it's like 15-20 mins). And it's fucking awesome up there.
