Guys, he is a thrower. Specific training leads to specific adaption. You'll have to simply adjust your diet to lose fat chief. I agree with you on the cardio, it could very easily be counter productive for your sport.

sorry i didnt understand that cardio would be detrrimental but i would assume that HIIT would be a great way to lose fat and help in most sports, HIIT swimming would help i think or check out www.tmag.com and look at their fat burning workouts using weights like meltdown training
