Nolvadex better than clomid for increasing test levels?!?

Big Cat does a lot of research, on a number of topics, but he is most definitely incorrect here as is "bill". Though the pre-1982 research seems to indicate he is correct... one might take some time to look into who funded those studies.. or the methods used.. as subsequent findings have shown clomid to be completely superior..

if one read the anti-fertility studies with tamox.. it is clear to see that its action is suppressive (at least if used long term).. perhaps short term use may be less detrimental.. however all the research to subsequent to the early studies indicates that clomiphene is well suited to LH restoration.
I agree with you macro. In terms of the debate between Big Cat and Dr. Evil, I thought Dr. Evil handily disproved him. Dr. Evil has never steered me wrong either. Haven't seen him in a while, wish he still was around..

Personaly I perfer to use hcg and nolvadex as opposed to using clomid. This works well for me. I steer clear of clomid because it gives me migraine symptoms every time.:)

A agree. I have better post-recover from HCG and novadex then clomid alone as well.

Could you please post the references showing Clomid to be better? I'll remind you I did my research last year, not in 1982, and saw nothing suggesting Clomid to be the better agent in my review.

reel Life facts

SOME REEL LIFE FACTS........

When i went in with low test levels( 4 months post cycle too after clomif therapy 2x) the doc put me on clomid.....So i used clomid for another two months straight under my endos supervison

Blood work came back each time with little to no improvement

So he then put me on tamoxifin 40mg ed. I did this for another 2 months and my Levels came back to close to normal. I staeyd on tamoxifin for another couplr of months but never got into the normal range so I got replacement

So For me Tamaxafin worked MUCH BETTER and im not just going on my gut feeling Im going on BLOOD WORK

I say different strokes fro different folks my endo used clomid most of the time with great success but in some people ( Like myself) it just doesnt cut the cake

So what im saying is withought blood work you isnt going to know shite. You can read all the arguments in the world but everbody reacts to drugs differently........

Well, I always use Nolv as an anti-estro during my cycle and Clomid post-cycle. Taking Nolv during cycle does not seem to limit HPTA shutdown. I don't know if ceasing steroids and maintaining a 20 mg daily regimen of Nolvadex is going to be enough post cycle recovery after having been on Nolv for the previous 8 weeks during the cycle. So, naturally, I would add Clomid post-cycle. I don't think I would flip-flop (Clomid during cycle and Nolv post-cycle) because I believe it is well-settled that Nolv is the better anti-estro at the breast tissue receptors and therefore a better gyno preventive.
