No Time to Diet

I have been coming here for a while now, and i think this site is awesome. I am trying to lose weight myself, but am having a difficult time doing so.

I am currently at 6'2" and about 240lbs. I have been working out rarely to try to build up muscle mass, but still need to lose the gut. If it want to push it, i can look like i am carrying twins!!!

Anyway, here's my delimma. I goto school form 7:30am to 2:00pm, then work from 2:30pm to 12:00am. Yes, that's 16 hours of my weekday dedicated to college and work. I checked out MR X's CKD diet, and i really do not believe that i have time for this.

I am trying Xenadrine, but it's not doing much without diet or exercise. I am not expection any maricles, but rather just some good foods to eat to help me in my attempt to lose fat. I eat a can of tuna as often as possible, approximately 1 per day. I try to avoid red meat, but i generally have to take what i can get, when i can get it. I have considered adding turkey burgers as often as possible. I really cannot plan a diet, cause i have to eat between classes, or on the road. A can of tuna is an easy little item to take with me anywhere and scarf anytime. I can prepare turkey burgers for the next day because it is quick and simple.

Anyone have any ideas on quick foods that i could eat at random, as my life pretty much happens at random, that would be beneficial in the attempt to lose weight.

I'm sorry, but dieting takes planning, and dedication.

I hope you don't turn out to be one of those people in the media who suffer medical problems from taking an ECA product, and not exercising.

HumanShell is right you have to plan your meals and you have to precook what your eating the day before if you don't have the time that day.

I cook up my Brown rice three days before break it up and put them in bags, grib one or two before i go to work with one or two cans of tuna. Premake my protein shakes with flaxseed oil in water bottles and their ready to go. That way i'm only cooking once every three days.

Hope this helps abit:)

diet

I know that dieting requires planning to be done properly. But i am not exactly overweight, or in need of a serious diet, just something a little healither than cheetos, and a #2 from mcDonalds.

I could probably do the cooking once every three days or so. I do make one killer batch of sweet and sour chicken, but i do not know whether that is worth the effrot compared to mcD's. This is straight from memory, so it is not accurate. If ya want the accurate recipie, i can get it.

Sauce:

1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup vinegar,
1 1/2 cup pineapple juice and crushed pineapple

1 tsp salt
1 tbsp corn starch
2 tbsp water

I Know that this is probably far from accurate, so dont try it unless i post the real one when i have a chance.

Then i use some chichen, like 3 lbs or so, and some rice. In the long run, i get about 1.5 gallons of sweet and sour chicken. which would probably make 8-10 meals for me. Is this any better than mcDonalds for meals.

I know that if i am not accurate, it may be hard for you to be as well. Tell me if you need the accurate recipie, and i will post.
