No soreness

Hey,

I'm wondering..
I work out practically every day and yet
I do not get sore at all.
Does this mean I'm not really working out and
am not gaining anything?

Thanks,
Andy

I don't know what to say...Unless I'm on a cycle...I'm sore as a bitch after a good hard workout. Usually the 2nd day after! That's just me...:fro:

Are you on a cycle right now ? When I was on I never got real sore after a workout but now I get sore as hell. I did chest on Monday and it still hurts today :(

If you lift every day you eventually don't get very sore from workouts. This is good for technique training (olympic lifting) but bad for bodybuilding or strength gain.

I am assuming you are very overtrained at this point.

Gettting sore means youre not hitting it hard enough...

A while back I was taking like 3 minute breaks inbetween sets, and bullshiting walking around, I would get sore but very little, lately ive been leaving only enough time for my training partner to finish or I give it about 40 seconds - a minute for recovery inbetween sets.. I did chest on Monday and I still cant scratch my back, i also overtrained that day which is just as bad as not hitting it hard enough...

are you doing the same workout routine each time on a muscle. Change your routine, add different exercises, even on juice you can get sore. Try it, for example, on your chest day try doing different things, after you are done bench pressing for the day, do 4 sets of pushups, as many as you can before you hit the floor, then tell me you don't have an awesome pump, and you aren't sore the next day from changing exercises for that muscle, I will be shocked, and so will your muscle(shocked). Thats the key to growing, keep shocking the muscle over and over again. The muscle gets bored over the same thing over and over again and says been there, done that, and won't grow. Thats why each workout you must increase the weight to grow, or hit the muscle differently, try this and let me know how things go, this is how I beat my stuck points with ease. I notice the more sore I am the better the results for me, so this is how I know to change my routine, I'm not sore at all the next day or 2. later
