Nighttime Protein?

:newbie: I am new to this site. A couple days ago I saw some post on Cottage cheese and how beneficial it was in slowing down digestion. I was wondering why that is a good thing? Also I thought Cottage cheese high in fat????

:newbie:

Eating about 6 egg whites right before you goto bed should be sufficient right. I bought cottage cheese again today and tried to eat it for the 4th time heh. Not happening i added some sugar free choc jello pudding mix. I think its the consistancy that makes it so nasty maybe. If the eggs arent going to be enough im thinking of maybe putting the cottage cheese in the blender with some milk and just chug it. What do you guys think would be better? the eggs or the cottage cheese?

You can get nonfat and lowfat cottage cheese. At night, you want protein that will be slowly digested so your body has a slow, steady supply of protein throughout the night.

Lex- 6 egg whites only has about 18-22 g protein. You probably want more protein than that.

i too think its all a bunch of shyt..and even if it does work is it really that much better then like they said cottage cheese or just eggs???? considering the money i think its not...ill just wait for it to be around for a little bit longer and theyll drop the price on it......

Try cottage cheese and protein powder in a blender w just a little water. Tastes almost like a milkshake. Or if cutting carbs and worried about sugar in cc use flax oil. Formulas WAY too expensive. For the same price you can use cottage cheese and run IP winny. I bet the supp companies won't fund that research on which was the better use of $100 for muscle gains.
