The Sinclair Group based in Balitmore, Md, which donated $130,000 to the Bush election campaign and owns 62 stations decided not to air the nightline broadcast saying it was politically motivated.
Wether or not a program is "politically motivated", should it be the perveu of the owner of an affiliated station to make a decision not to broadcast a program that it has agreed to broadcast by contract? To me this is simply another example of neo-con thinking which is in essence a modern form of facism.
