Night protein

How does everyone get their protein at night right before bed? I personally just add some flaxseed oil to my shake so it absorbs slower... and I'm not about to blow $100 on those night time "time-releasing" protein. I know casein is absorbed slowly, but is there any protein shakes that are 100% casein? So far I can only find 100% Whey. Just need to find a protein powder only for night.

Some of the old school bodybuilders use to eat a ton of Cottage Cheese before bed.. I think Sergio Olivia was the guy whgo said that. I usually throw down some Cottage Cheese and wash it down with some whey protein shake and then off to sleep in about half hour after that. One thing I must admit though, when you go to sleep with food in your stomach your body is actually working hard while you sleep to digest it so some people say you may wake up tired because of that.

Peace,
Mike

Look into the new Designer Whey 2 time release protien. It costs about the same as normal (I paid $44 dollars for 4lbs).

It works better then normal time release. Great thing is, when I take it before bed, I actually wake up and I am not starving. Great shit!

muscle milk is good for before bed...

It has a mix of casien, whey and some other stuff, and the good thing is, each serving has 18 grams of fat... good fat. So you don't need flax. It tastes amazing too.

Drink a lot of water before you go to bed. You'll wake up a few hours later. When you do, down a pre-made shake then go back to bed.
