we are going to be discussing position by position players this week... starting with qb's... say anything and everything you want about any qb in the league... i shall start..

charlie batch (lions)- this guy is a bum, he has no touch whatsoever and if he wasnt surrounded by 3 very good wr's he would be out of the league... he takes way too many hits and some are his own doing, he holds the ball too long (yes, his line sucks)... he was lucky to have barry during his rookie year, that took some pressure off, but when barry retired batch had far too much pressure on him.... harbaugh will be getting at least 4 starts this year... if not taking over completely.

donovan mcnabb- he is rated so high in fantasy leagues its disgusting, the guy has a TON of pressure on him to deliver a championship in only his 2nd season as a starter... he single handedly took the team to the playoffs last year and is phenomenal... in order for the eagles to win big this year, its not up to him completely, its up to his surrounding cast and THEY have to be the ones to step up to his level... he is already at that next level...

peyton manning- born to be an nfl all pro... he is a pure leader, a pure passing machine... if the colts didnt have james this mofo would be throwing for 5k a year and not think twice about it... barring any career threatening injury he will end up being spoken of as one of the best ever... his touch, timing, accuracy, its all amazing.

drew bledsoe- last year, skywalker and i disagreed harshly on my saying that drew is "the next dan marino".. i say this meaning= he will have all the personal team records that can be had, but will not win the big game... he will be an all time leader in categories, like dan... but not have that "special" team help that is needed... if you compare his first 5 or 6 years in the nfl with marino, they are remarkably similar, tons of stats and a good deal of wins, but.... no championships and just a few good teams... drew will be good again this year, but he gets hit way too much.. the patriots figured that out and drafted to help protect him instead of giving him a stud like david terrell to throw to... they SHOULD have signed OL's and drafted terrell... but oh well... if glenn is NOT IN JAIL :) drew will have some numbers again... if somehow he gets a running game (james edwards gets in shape and makes it back somehow) he will do that much better..

YOUR TURN.

Kayne- You are a hater.

Peyton Manning - The best All-Around QB in the league. He has the skills, the smarts, and the Pedigree. He makes Marvin Harrison and James.

Kurt Warner- Good Qb, but very overrated. Anybody would have a carreer year if they threw to Bruce, Holt, Hakim, and Faulk. If Trent Green never gets hurt, Green puts up Warners numbers.

Mcnabb- Great Talent. Put his team on his shoulders last year. Hopefully, F. Mitchell can give him some help.

Aaron Brooks - If he played like he did last year with the lost of all the Off weapons he can become a star. Its his job to lose in training camp.

Batch is garbage.

Overrated QBs
Jeff Garcia
Brian Griese

Underrated
Rich Gannon
Steve Buerlein

Oh yeah, Dallas fans, Quincy Carter in the 2nd Round.

Jesus Christ, with picks like that a contracts like Joey Galloways, yall wont do shit for the next 10 years.

i personally dont like buerlein or his ability... but he HAD the panthers on the right track...

i think aaron brooks is in for a world of trouble if he thinks he is a quality starting qb, he is charlie batch all over again... a little more scrambling ability but the same mentality and arm... he can only go so far as his team takes him, not the other way around... i believe blake will end up winning the job and keeping it for the most part... saints are in a world of trouble if they start losing, qb controversy will be fast and furious.

trent green got hurt so bad in that preseason game vs. the chargers... it cost him the world... i agree, he would have done just about everything warner did, he was going to have an incredible year, be a phenomenal qb and be the toast of st louis... but, one late dirty knee hit and he is HOPING he lives up to elvis grbac??? nice turn of events...

Ok, well warner is in my opinion the best qb in the league. Green DID play last year and do you see where it got them? While warner was healthy all anyone was talking about was when are the rams gonna lose? He gets hurt, green takes over, they barely make the playoffs and lose in the first round. He is that team

As for overrated qb's, Garcia is not overrated. He gets no recognition. He is a great great player, steve young like and watch him for a game, he has tons of talent. Same goes for Griese, i'd put him in my top 3-4 qbs in the league. He didn't use to impress me, but he was great last year. He has all the tools. Student of the game.

Watch AB this year. A Batch he is not. Batch does not scramble that well, floats the ball all over the field, and cant read a Secondary to save his life.

Brooks, has excellent scrambling ability, A cannon arm, and is very smart.

With Mueller and Hasletts track record so far on judging talent, if they say he can be a star, I believe them.

I agree with this guy.
