Newcomer looking for good advice

whatup everyone....i was just put on to this site by some friends at school...i started workin out hard like 6months to a year ago...basically i think i look good and not fat but im really lookin to get ripped...a diesel 6 pack would be nice....i never have been a fan of any roids but it seems like they really work....i really dont want to get hooked on them, so is there any way i can just take like 1 cycle and thats it???
 
Bro, you'll prolly here it a thousand times after me but train natural for as long as you can. You need to build a solid "natural" foundation first. Train hard, eat a clean diet and take your supps. That's about 90% of it right there. If you can't do that you'll never be able to take full advantage of gear once you decide to use it.
 
how old are you still in school high school? if so saty away from as and just put in some hard work on your diet and tranning as will help with the abs but you must get bf down as low as possible and eat clean and train correct as is not a over night drug so do a bunch of research
 
6 months to a year? Now thats a pretty big dip in time there, which is it 6 months or a year?

Regardless, that is not even close to enough time, if you look pretty good and are seeing good gains you don't need any gear yet bro. Keep training hard, keep changing your diet up, trying different workout routines and you will keep growing.

you need to educate yourself.

You have not even come close to your potential. You can make insane gains without steroids. Most guys on this board have been training for years. I didn't do steroids until I was training for almost 10 years. Six months is nothing.

First thing you will learn is that steroids will not get you ripped and give you a "diesel" six pack.

A good diet will. FOOD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN DRUGS!!

What are your stats? height weight age?

yo guys...thanx for the good advise....its good to get feedback and i welcome everyones opinion....im about 6'0...185-190 right now....i always try and eat right but its mad hard in college u know....i never really ever plan on juicing but these 3 idiots are trying to talk me into it....im not really tryin to be the biggest man in the gym, im just tryin to look/feel good and a 6 pack is something i always wanted....what do u guys recommend for trimming all the fat away and gettin shredded?!?!?!...let a brotha know....peace...j
 
Now, I definitely don't think you should take steroids.

Try eating 1800-2300 calories a day. Split it up into 6 meals. You could also do cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

You can try a calorie ratio like 40:40:20 (protein:carbs:fat)

There is no one way to diet..in fact there are countless ways. Everyone is different...but the key is to eat less calories than you use.

But instead of us just telling you what to do...the best thing is for you to do is learn all about.

Use the search function and look up words like:

BMR
ratio
diet
cutting
calories
post workout shake
supplements

I have probably spent days searching this site. It is freakin library of knowledge. My whole diet has changed because of the info I picked up on Elite.

I guarantee 90% of all your questions have already been asked and answered many times.

and again...DIET IS EVERYTHING.
