Newbie to "gear" first cycle write up

Ok I figured this warranted a new topic rather than post in my newbie to "gear" thread. Ive been doing a substantial amount of reading these past few days and yes I know that it doesn't end there and that I need to always keep reading.

Although I have learned enough and read enough of what the beginners did and are doing for their first cycle to write up my first cycle and see what you all think and hopefully will entice you guys to make comments/suggestions on doseages and maybe other minor things I should watch for or links to other articles to read to keep on going in the right direction just in case I missed anything which im sure I probably have since im new to this.

1-12 week test enathate 500 mg ew
1-14 week eq 400-600 mg ew

Arimidex entire cycle .25 mg ed

I plan to use Nolva during cycle if I start to see gyno symptoms. (right or wrong?)

I also plan to use Nolva and Clomid in my PCT(good or no good?)


Once again I am writing this up because I feel that I have read enough so that I can put something halfway decent up and get responses and suggestions on. This is based on what I have read on other sites about these products and about what new guys were using on their first cycle.

I am going to edit this with pics so you guys can get a good feel for what I am working with but until then I will give you some stats for those that did not see my previous thread and didn't care to read that one.

I am 5'9
182lbs
16 3/8" arms cold
43" chest
48 inches wide at the shoulders
17" neck
havent done legs yet because I slacked on them for so long I dont feel I should be taking pics yet. I don't have chicken legs but I dont have great bodybuilders legs either I used to be the typical upperbody only chump until I started to take this more serious.


OK I just finally got my thumbnails working and I took these pics on a camera phone. Now you have a basic idea of my natural physique and what I have to work with and further improve on before I use any type of gear.


Just let me know what you guys think. Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: forgot to mention BF is at about 13.5%

How old are you?



PCT is kind of a personal choice, I like hcg & nolvadex.

Clomid works wonderful, just has side for some of us.
 
hcg will get your boys back to good size after 12 weeks of test...good job running the eq longer than the test...its really good to get 15 weeks out of eq...but remember its your first cycle and you only get one of those...it might be a good call to just run them both for 15 weeks to maximize your gains....just my opinion...happy growing bro...gal of water ed....make sure to eat like a fuckin caveman....(actually i dont know how cavemen eat)
 
For the most part, it looks really good. And from your pics you got a good frame to start with.

Youre gonna be happy with your results as long as your diet and training are in check.

you got a good frame to start, your gonna love the results! with that firstcycle and proper pct i think you'll finish at more than 200, close to 210 maybe. keep up the training and eat, eat , eat!! (healthy though)
 
I just turned 21 last month. Yeh I posted those pics so you guys could kinda see my frame and what I have to work with. People tell me I have a thick muscle mass which I would like to finish off with this winter at 200+ then get shredded for spring/summer then repeat next winter.

Also I am not going to start this cycle until I have all my proper amount of gear and my PCT In check. Also I am going to make sure my diet is in check. Do I need to be counting calories as long as I train hard and eat big and eat the clean foods?
 
I am debating also to try this beginner cycle I found... a 12 week cycle of test enanthate at 400 mg a week and using oral dbol for the first 4 weeks to kickstart the cycle at 20mg a day..

what do you guys think? would this be a better cycle for a more nervous beginner?
 
The less you take, the better the quality of your training needs to be. With that in mind, take whatever dose you fancy: you can always adjust up or down as the cycle progresses.

With your comments on having neglected legs for a long time, I'd put aside the gear for another six months and get some decent squatting and deadlifting in. Going on gear is quite likely to exaggerate your imbalance.

I second this advice. You really need to have legs up to par. Yes aas will help bring them up but your upper body isn't going to stop growing either so you have to consider that. The numbers will go up, however, the ratio will be the same.

Also, you may consider dropping the EQ altogether, though this is because I'm a proponent of test only first cycles. You certainly won't grow an extra arm or something by taking eq.

Alright first cycle set up overall and you have a solid natural foundation to build up on.

Yeh I am already starting to get definition on my legs and I can telll what I am doing is working because when I squat I dont feel all unbalanced coming down and pushing up. Its starting to feel more like a natural movement and I am squating significantly more. I think I will most likely wait on the gear until I hit 200lbs or so naturally. Also this will give me time to learn more and get all my shit together so when I go on I know what I am doing.
