Newbie Needs Mucho Bizarre Anti-E Info

Comrades,

I'm 25 & in good health, moving to the SoCal area. I've got a major defect though--I was born with sever internal malformations including having 1 very strange kidney (works perfectly, thank you), no apendix, and no nuts. Result--severe & permanent hypogonadism. I take (through prescription) 150mg Test Cyp every 2 weeks IM injection. But I'm prone to a high conversion level. Also, my bod indigenously produces too much estrogen.

I've been working with a doc now for a year who was considering putting me on a one-two punch of anti-estrogen/anti-aromatase drugs. But he recently decided against because he doesn't know what the long term effects would yield for me.

My levels generally test at 50ng/dl E. and 350ng/dl T. I've read what I can find about anti-E/anti-Aromatase but all the dosing schedules I can find are either for female bodybuilders trying to harden/cut up for a contest or males trying to regrow their nuts after a cycle.

I'd have to be on something long term. Since I produce too much estrogen & since the T I take converts easily, my doc had thought a combo might work well, something like Teslac/Proviron or Arimidex/Nolvadex.

What stack might work? Should I go for a doc or go buy my own stuff? What about bringing stuff back from Mexico?

I'm open to suggestions. Educate me.

More helpful info:

5'6". 154 pounds. 8% bodyfat. Currently training 4-6 days each week depending on training split/training goal.

Thanks

If this is for real, I am very surprised that your doctor would prescribe Test to you without an E blocker. Please don't take my "if this is for real" comment personally. You are new and that is one hell of a story. Anyway I ran it past a good friend of mine who is a resident MD in Miami and she said the same thing, "Is this for real?" She recommended a second opinion on that issue. She feels that it is such a unique situation that more than one doctor should be involved anyway.

Actually doctors prescribe test all the time to older patients for example or those suffering from low test levels without estrogen blockers so don't be too shocked but then again you are a newbie too to this so both of you can learn more by staying on this site and listening to old vets like me. hehehehe.....

Anyway nolvadex/arimidex combo would work well but long term without going off I'm not too sure especially if health is a concern. I mean you with arimidex you have bad effects with cholesterol levels but with nolvadex you get some positive effects with your levels due to it being pro-estrogenic in certain receptor sites which aid in your cholesterol levels.

Arimidex has been shown to raise test levels too since alot of the extra test won't be converted into estrogen(depeding on dose more or less will be converted) and the nolvadex will block any bad effects from the test that did get converted. :)

Point taken, but what we are getting at is that he is 25 not 50 and he has no balls. Pretty unique situation for one doc.

Are you sure you don't want to get a second opinion from another endocrinologist to see what the best path to take is. I think the guys here are great but this might be beyond the scope of this board.

Aromasin is the way to go. Aromasin is the ONLY third generation anti-E that doesn't (in the short-term at least) negatively affect the blood lipid profile.

I believe that DrJMW has some experience with this. Look him up in the member database here and PM or e-mail him. Using Arimidex and Femara will only serve, I would 'assume', to advance arteriosclerosis if not Heart Disease as well. Do a search for the user ID 'DrJMW' too. You may just find his post on that topic. It was posted about 2-3 months ago. Here is one thread I grabbed from a search.

I agree PD here arimidex for long term would be bad cause of the negative effect on the lipid profile aromisin would be the way to go
