Newbie needs advice

Ok peepz, here's the deal...

been working out for quite awhile now, about 4 times a week... Now I'm looking to escalate my work out and have been doing some research on what I should take.

I'm 28, 205lbs, 6'1 and was going to do a 7 week cycle of Deca .. What should I stack with it, and why?

Also - want to drop the rest of my gut and was reading about DNP on this board. What's up with it? Really as good as it sounds?

Great board, gotten a lot of good info so far...so any advice would be sweet

Don't know much about DNP but I do know it can be very dangerous. Lets build this cycle then go from there. I would suggest making your cycle 10 weeks. I would throw in some test. It will counter the deca dick you may get plus give you more gains. Everyone has their own opinion but mine would be a 500mg/week sust. 400mg/week deca. Total of 10 weeks. Great first cycle. You could throw in some dbol to get the kick start but dont have to.
 
I think you still have room to grow before doing a cycle. But, if you are decided, since it is your first, I'd stick to only a 4 week cycle to begin with. Deca I wouldn't do because of the progesterone related issues and its long lasting nature in your system. You didn't mention what your goals are either- hugeness, cuts, etc. I'd look into a winny/anavar cycle to start with depending on your ultimate goals- AD
 
Goals

I want to achieve greater girth/size... Cladshirts recommendations seems a bit excessive for a first cycle while AD seems a bit small...

I probably do have a little more room to grow on my own, but have seemed to hit a plateau that I just can't seem to surpass.

What kind of doses for the winny/anavar cycle would you recommend AD?

I'd go 50ED winny and 40ED Anavar. If you want something stronger, maybe fina/winny but that may be a little too much for the first time. I think you'd make some solid gains on the winny/anavar with enough calories. Dbol would put size on you but is a tougher on your system. If you want girth and size though, Dbol is a great starter cycle with some clomid at the end and it will be alot cheaper than the win/var option. I'd say you could put on a good 20lbs with the dbol cycle alone for 4 weeks- AD
 
If you want greater size, forget winny and var.

Being this your first cycle I bet you could make great gains on 200mg deca and 250mg Sust a week, for 8 weeks and if you want you can even trow in some d-bol for the first 4 weeks.

However, deca @400 and sust @500 a week like cladshirt recommended is not that excessive, you're a fairly big guy.

The reason I went with Sust/Deca was you already have the deca and I have done this cycle twice. I did throw Dbol in my first cycle but my second cycle I didn't. I was great for me. Currently doing 500mg/ week sust. now. There are several routes you can go so just listen and do some research. There are lots of knowledgeable people here...Good luck.
 
Sust would do well but too hard for a first cycle in my opinion. I'm doing a fina/winny right now and have put on about 12lbs in a week and that is supposed to be a cutting cycle. Be careful your first time and you'll be around for the next one with no problems- AD
 
Look at "Applejuice"'s thread "What next..." where he gives his cycle example...might help you decide.
 
If you want to drop your gut, try a good diet and running 6 days a week before resorting to drugs. As far as a good drug for Deca, winny is good for the progesterone sides.
 
suggestions..

I agree with athlete03...try running. Truth be known, I do a LOT of cardio.. do about 15 miles of biking a day, 1/2 hour treadmill at the gym 4 days a week, and lots of crunches etc at home every night...

The problem is I finding the time to fit in running as well...maybe I'll just swap it with biking as I understand it's more effective. The other option would be to cut out beer but I don't think that's too realistic (*burp* NEVER!)

I agree with your opinions on DNP - just heard some things about it and wanted additional info.

Speaking of which, I've been doing quite a bit of research on my choices and options and I just wanted to thank all of you for your input. it's one thing reading up on different sites, but much more helpful to get this kind of input to verify my findings.

Once I make my final decision on what to stack and for how long (still need to do a little more studying) I hope you don't mind if I come back and have your help through my first cycle. I think I'm going to take it fairly light and work up to a comfort zone..
