Newbie Need Help..........

whats up guys i'm new too this board been just reading for awhle and got great info. i am 64 about 285 football player and looking to loose about 30 lbs before using again. my problem is i need help with a diet i know to eat chicken and egg whites but not good with how much carbs and like what lean protean is considered and info on personal advise or sites would be great .

good u realize u need to loose weight and most likely get the bodyfat down before u start nething...

diet and cardio is the key... try to elminate most carbs or keep them in the a.m. try and get them from whole wheat bread and yams....

cardio as much as u can but remebr to get urself at and passing ur target heart rate while ur doing ur cardio....

food to eat...salad, lean chicken breast, lots of water, egg whites
 
low glycemic carbs. efa's for fats. lean protein... chicken, egg whites. whey, fish.
i losted about 30 lbs in about 12 weeks by eating egg whits and oatmeal in the am... and chicken and brown rice through out the day.
 
Seems like you should know how to loose weight, but IMO, this diet worked for me when I needed to loose a few.

Oatmeal for breakfast
salad with good protien for lunch
veggies for dinner
dont eat after 7p
cardio before breakfast
run lift jumprope

You may hate it at first, the diet that is, but it worked for me, and a good bro gave it to me to try.
