Newbie here - finally switched over from anabolex

VooDoo Lady

New member
Hi everyone! I have been over on anabolex (with no women's section!!) for a few years now..I just started reading it when my husband left it up on the computer...

My husband plans all of my cycles, and I'll have to have him post what I've been doing...

I am curious as to what your work out schedules are like. I am addicted to cardio and do it daily (1 hour minimum) and I lift 2 times a week...but I am frighteningly muscular despite the fact that I don't lift a ton.

I'll try and get some pics done soon...

SO, what do you ladies do to get lean?

Welcome!!! Glad ya made it over here...cardio is good...but lifting is BETTER. TO get lean it takes several factors together....A good solid heavy weight training program...clean diet.....and cardio. Its 90% diet when it comes to getting really lean. 1-2 days is NOT enough of training....You only need to hit each bodypart 1 x a week....but how are you training now??? What does your diet look like?? What are your goals???? What are your stats...w/ a lil info we can better help you. I would do a search..several examples of workouts have been posted as well as diets and general information that would be very beneficial to you. Goodluck!!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'm soooo happy that I won't have to sift through all of the PORN on Anabolex anymore!!

After just one day.....YOU ALL HAVE FIRED ME UP!!!!!!!!!!

My workouts, until now, have been haphazard...meaning I don't have a routine and I kinda just do what I feel like doing when I get to the gym (but I do go 6-7 days a week without exception).

Here is my diet (being brutally honest here):

Breakfast -
M-Thursday: Slimfast bar
Fridays: "bake day" at work, I have a bagel and a donut because I have NO FREAKING SELF CONTROL.

Lunch:
grilled chicken sandwich from Wendy's (PLAIN)
Dannon Light yogurt

Afternoon snack:
Slimfast bar or nothing

Dinner:
What ever I am feeding my family, no fried food or crap like that.
Usually chicken.

All day I drink, drink, drink, drink, water..(and pee, pee, pee too!)

I'll be honest here, I have (had) the attitude that I BUST MY ASS at the gym, so I should be able to eat whatever the hell I want.

But I am READY TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL FOLKS.....
PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH YOUR BEST DIET TIPS!!

My goals are to slim down, become more lean. Increase the APPEARANCE of my muscles without bulking up any more. That's my main goal.

My stats are a bit unusual..I weigh appx 135 (I haven't stepped on a scale for a LONG time). Which sounds like a lot, right?? BUT, I wear a dress size 4 or 6. I mean I read about you ladies weighing 118, but I'd have to chop off my right arm.

So, there's my deal..what are your 'best practices?'

VDL

P.S. My name is from a GREAT song off The Distance To Here - which is by the band Live (the band who sings 'Overcome'). I HIGHLY recommend their new album as well - 'V'

P.P.S. I live outside Philly ...

Ok cut out the bagels and stuff.....you have control it is all in your mind!!! You dont need it...and you will feel better not eatin it too. Cut out the slim fast bars...JUNK! Cut out the wendy's....eat the chicken..no need for the bun. With some changes in your diet..you will see major progress. Eat clean protein...every meal...no need for slim fast bars..grab a protein bar if needed or a shake. TRy eating some egg whites and a lil oatmeal for breakfast...grilled chicken salad w/ flax, or olive oil on it. Tuna, lean red meat, turkey breasts...eat some VEGGIES...you need em and they are good for ya...5-6 small meals a day..you should be getting in at least 1-1.5 grams of protein per lb. how lean do you want to be and how lean are you now?????

Welcome VDL....

I hang at both places, and a few others too. I suggest getting VDC over here too, my bride and I like to read this one together at times.... Couples that share hobbies......and all of that stuff 'ya know!

Anyway, glad to see you here!

Welcome Voodoo ;)
New@ is right... once the diet is clean w/out sugars & processed foods, you will see & feel terrific results. Good idea to take your food w/ you prepared the night before... ya' know the saying 'prior planning prevents poor performance'... really works re: the diet.
You have the self-control... just need to tap into it.

Good to have ya' here! :D
