Newbie cycle question

Wow, first I must say, I'm REALLY glad I found this site. I'm kind of anal when it comes to putting things in my body, so up until this point I've mostly been just reading and taking mental notes. Ok, down to business...

I just started lifting again 3 months ago after a 6 year layoff....hired a trainer to kick my ass for a while, the whole nine yards. The gains I have been making thus far (lost 3 inches on waist, added 2 inches to chest, etc) have been great. My diet has been totally clean for 3 months (eat 5 meals, 250g protein, 2,000 total calories). I'm 30 years old, 5'8, 175lbs, around 20% bodyfat.

Is it too early to consider a cycle? If not, what is a good "beginner's cycle"? What 2 pieces of gear would you choose? I'm definitely looking to build up muscle, but stay lean along the way. What dosages would you recommend for that "beginner's cycle"? Again, would like to keep it to 2 pieces of gear if possible....so with that said, what works best together for beginners?

My first cycle was very simple, Test E 600mg each week in two separate shots of 300mg each. I had great results. For my PCT i used Clomid at 50mg ED for 4 weeks. Clomid works really well for me. Diet is so key. If it is on point you will get great results!!!! Best of luck bro and welcome,great info on this site!!
 
Couple of years back I found myself in the same position as you. I had done cycles previously though but none for some time and I finally had the opportunity to commit to the gym and did so. I hired a trainer (who I still use twice a week) and did my best to get back into shape before hitting up a cycle again.

Initally I did low dose Test Cyp (250mgs/week) with HGH. I ran for 12 weeks and then did PCT with HCG and arimidex which worked great. I continued the HGH through and then did another run with Test Cyp for 12 weeks followed by the same PCT. This worked wonders for me. Transformed my body nicely while at the same time reduced my BF.

I now run more regular cycles but I can state from expereince that 250-350mgs/week of test really should be all you need in this very first instance. At your age if you have access to HGH I also believe would be a good inclusion.

I would continue what you're doing, sounds like you're moving in the right direction. How do you know your 20%? I would try to get around 12% natty before hitting a cycle. Post some pics
 
bump, need to get that bf down to 10-12. im ur height and 12 percent bf and trying to get it to a single before cycling again. with ur progression u seem to be dropping lbs pretty fast. id give ur good diet and training a while longer and when uve gotten that bf down run a fist cycle.i think ull be happier cuz ull be able to really see the muscle coming on and really notice ur transformation.

12 %BF is extremely hard to get to. I wouldnt mess with gear until you are right around 16%. Damn bro 12%!!! Thats hard to get to, im bigger and leaner now than ive ever been in my life and im 13.5%.
 
Thanks for the info guys! Regarding the reduction of my bodyfat, how helpful can Lipoflame be at this stage in the game? Would something from 4RX.com be better than Lipoflame for fat reduction?

Ok, will do...and ONE more question (I promise). I received alot of recommendations for Test in my first cycle. Once I get my bodyfat down to where I need to, what Test would you go with as part of a first cycle? I know there's different ones...but which one would be a good one to start with?
 
i prefer long esters like cyp or e. i only use prop or sus when i stack with something i need 2 inject ed or eod. some prefer prop in general bc of less bloat but i never get bloated.
 
for ur first cycle i would go with a long ester, enanthte or cypionate. some say sustanon cuz u will feel it quicker bc of the prop in it. i too prefer long esters. i would go with either enanthate or cypionate at 300 to 500 mg/wk in two shots a week monday and thursday for wo weeks. this is usually the standard first cycle of only test and possibly dbol to kick start.

by keeping ur diet in check you can reduce ur bloat a little from the water retention which will come from using a long acting ester of test. ur water retention will also vary from how ur body reacts.

Agree completely ! I'm on a 12 wk w/ Diana kick/ and Sus 500mg wk..tren end ! i'm fuckin lovin it, and the gains have been out of this world, my diet has controlled bloat like a finely tuned machine ! this cycle i would recamend to any newbie ( w/o tren !), and experianced wanting a simple bulker !
