Get under the 10% mark by March...never smoke another cigarrette. All A's in school. I plan on achieving all of these goals.

I wish you the best of luck bro. You have some very important goals that you can achieve. I am with you on goal number one.:D

"The people that "invented" their own technique " lol canadianbro - the shit some people do in the gym amazes me.

I am going to quit drinking and reduce the pot. I want to get down to 185 (i am 195 now)but want to still be able to bench 315 for 5. and get back into single digit BF%.

Don't take this as a flame, but I think anyone who says "My New years resolution is............." is mentally weak. You need a day or the start of a new year to say ok I'm going to get in shape this year. Thats such bullshit. If you really wanted to get in shape or whatever your goals are you would have done it when you first thought it out completely and not wait for New Years. Not just New Years, just when even someone says ok starting next month I'm going to eat well again, why not start now?? Those people who say these things are the people who are setting themselves up for failure in the end because they don't really want it. Thats why you see all these new people in the gym in January with so much motivation because its the new year, then come Feb. people are starting to make excuses and by the end of march they're all disappeared.

RRR,

In my opinion you are wrong but anyway.....I have always started my strength phase in September and yes that includes increased calories. The only time I have not done a strength/bulk phase is when I competed in bodybuilding contests in October/November. For me it does not make sense to be carrying around plastic tubs of chicken during the holidays and focusing on an upcoming contest.

This does not mean I don't train hard during the Fall-Early Winter. Heavy Pulls, Squats and Flat Bench are prioritized during this time.

Starting to get serious about my diet, after the holidays, always worked for me. So yes, I will be having fun New Years Eve.:D :arty:
