Have you noticed how more and more companies/websites are now heavily encouraging "live chat" or "email" customer service?
I was talking to a geek friend today who works in that indusry - and the #1 problem americans have is "they can't understand me dum fourinnors!!" (though they don't midn waiting onhold 40 mins 10 years ago).
So those ever smart suits, are now replacing live voice with more workstatiosn doign live chat and email support. So now when yo utalk to habib, i'm sorry, john, you email your questions. And for most calls - they are pretty simple and can be done via text. For more advanced problems - they get referred to a stateside c.s. center, where a white guy then takes your voice call.
Those american capitalists sure are smart! One industry that is growing by leaps and bounds eveyr single day. EF also btw has been email customer support for what since day one. lol! (i'd laugh if they offshore that c.s. one day omfg!!).
