What do you think ?
The Spaces are clearly Labelled in the Pics , were working with the space from the little Half Wall back , pretty much ... its no small amount , either . Its SO loveley with the Open ceilings , huge windows and Hardwood Flooring !
I want to Basically Pad 1-2 the Pillars and use them for Striking Posts , OR pad just ONE of them perhaps by just Surrounding them with Thai Bags . A Third one could be used to Mount Speed bags and Double End Bags . Another Idea that I had was to cover the Pillars with Tires and then Wrap them with Canvas and/or Foam . This would give me the all Important Striking Stations without reducing any of hte workable Floor Space at all . This is very Important to me because much of my Training time I think will be spent doign Capoeira , Weapons , and IMA training , much of wich is done by Violently hurtling yourself forward one step at a time & Partner Drills . I may also use a Post to "Walk The Circle" (a Fundamental Baguazhang drill) but I think the only way that I could Dual Use one for that is if I went with the Idea of Padding a Pillar and Using hte Pillar Itself as one big Heavybag .
I would like to put in a (?) Wooden Dummy , but I cant really see where yet . I also want to put Wallbags of differing Toughnesses , but I have no Supplier for Steel Shot as of yet . Id llike to get a Ring/Training Timer , of course , and Pullup Bars that I could mount from the Ceiling and suspend Gymnastic Rings from . Double End Bags are another Need that I may just have to put up as I use them . I could also hang them on the Pullup Bar I suppose .
Im going to have to spare some space for Weights as well . A Basic Olympic/Powerlifting station of course ,
