I agree, great album..Took a few listen to's to absorb it all, but it's all good. Schism is great, Parabola is great, the Patient is great, Disposition is great....

oh and my local radio station said today that Staind is supposed to outsell Tool by 50,000 copies.

Well, must be nice to ride the coat tails of Mr MTV himself, Fred Durst, and get shoved down the throat of million of teeniboppers everywhere. Nothing against Staind, i like them and all, But if they never had anything to do with Mr. Durst, they wouldn't even be half as popular as they are now. Shit, Tool did all of this with very very minimal supoprt from MTV. I think when Tool releases the video for Schism you'll see it once and that's it.

Mtv would play their videos only on 120 minutes. that aired at 12:00am on Sundays. That is not much exposure.

I think this is the best that a band has done with no support from Mtv, VH1, BET, or any other TV video station.

FUCK Staind...TOOL has its base fans and then a few that ave picked up on them. TOOL has meaning behind thier songs. MAynard has taken the time to write from his experiences and his views. These other bands write about BS.

Just my opinion...and everyone has one.

Staind has been corrupted by Durst. I want more "Mudshovel" type songs. Not several songs about being "Outside" and telling me how long it's been....

Been a tool fan for a while.... I don't see a reason to listen to anything else. I can't find any other band i enjoy that is a well thought out and has as high of a meaning.

Well, peter8581, in my case, when ya want the Tool type music, no one does it better than them, heh. You really mean that's the only band you listen to, or you mean just genre wise?
