I'm not sure where to begin. I'm 18 in school and have never been on any set diet or working out schedule. I am looking to lose some gut and get a little more definition. I'm not really looking for a real drastic diet. Something like a three meal a day with some workout routine to improve overall strength and health.
I am 6' and about 180lbs. I have maybe 45-60 min a day I could dedicate to working out but have no money to join a gym.
I'm basically asking for some recommendations on foods and work out schedule. Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Ryenigma, if you want to be serious about your health you will have to make a serious decision. I too wasnt serious about the gym for a long time, and it dint get me anywere, my pshycique dint change for shit.

Untill i got serious, then i started seeing some changes. My body is now a statue in the making :D

This is not a flame i just want you to become motivated in jump into this with all the knowledge you can. Read the boards and learn. I wish i had this knowledge at my fingertips when i started training live and learn bud

Thanks for the info.
Just a few more Questions
I eat pasta maby two to three times a month is this something I should stay away from?
How are lunchmeats for lunch, ham and turkey mostly?

Some lunch meats can be fine - but you have to check the packaging! Some of them are made with fillers - and have high sodium levels. Some are also relatively high in carbs - so you have to watch that...

Stick with whole wheat pasta when possible - and control portion size. When the average person has pasta (perhaps in a restaurant) they usually end up consuming enough for FOUR people in one sitting!! Moderation is important here....
