is this show even any good? I see what look to be terminators in the commercials, but they all look like trendy redbook or GQ models. A terminator story without arnold or someone who at least exudes a fraction of his "baddassness"..........simply isn't worth a look. Look how terrible the bionic woman was........and why? because that shitty little actress couldn't pull it off. Actors/actresses just don't know how to act anymore. And they all act the fucking same.
What network is it on.

IMO I think Monday is the only good night on TV these days. It's basically like the movies. The actors are B at best and the story line is fairly predictable. Its like Smallville, how they followed the life of Clark Kent as a kid, they are doing that with John Conner. Same thing with the Terminator, she’s new and dumb like they always are at the start of the movie and you have to teach them to say cool stuff and not look like such a 'dork' as they say in the movie. The mom is a total control freak just like the movies but hotter than the chick they used for the originals.

Opinions, opinions.
She has this look in her eyes (watch the fifth episode where she flashes that kid at school that blank stare when he tries hitting on her) that is inhuman in itself, which is perfect for the role. At first it seemed difficult to picture how she would work but after watching the first five episodes it's obvious she's a good choice. So far the show is glued together surprisingly well. They usually end it with you wanting more too.
Fuck yeah this show is still good.

neither sarah or john conner look anything like what they did in the movies.. and there is no arnold. that alone made me not watch, maybe i'll tune in and check it out.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the best show on TV... at least until Battlestar Galactica returns.
The Bionic Woman is a complete embarrassment... I only watched it for Katee Sackhoff
I expect the new Knight Rider to be just as crappy.

Bro it's like Cameron himself is guiding the series. No where near the cheesy mess that T3 was. The story is answering a lot of questions and adding relevant points, leaving off pretty much from T2. At this point it's tough to say whether the female terminator is good or bad.
Sure it doesn't have Arnold and the Connor characters don't necessarily look the same but once you get past that it sucks you in.
