fucking annoying with this scab on me...

no sunlight, no itching... what the fuck???? i liked it when i was younger and didnt listen to people.

first of all..........

if it scabbed, then you're going to have some scar tissue and odds are your artist is either fairly new, or he/she is a hack. I don't care what anyone says, IF IT SCABS, IT WAS HACKED!!!!! a tatoo, if done right, and taken care of right, should heal just like a sunburn. One hour after you get it, take off the light bandage that the artist SHOULD have applied, wash the tat with some light soapy water thouroughly, then use a wet washcloth to rinse off the soap by squeezing the drenched cloth over the tat. DO NOT RUB THE TATOO WITH THE WASHCLOTH. Then apply a thin layer of bacitracin/triple antibiotic ointment, and rub it into the tatoo until it almost disappears. Add ointment as needed. Repeat those steps as many times as possible for the first three days. At the three day mark, you should notice the skin around it start to peel like a sunburn. DO NOT HELP IT PEEL!!! Let the skin fall off naturally. At this point, you can use lubriderm, or vas intensive care, or whatever kind of regular moisture type lotion you prefer.

well, its not really a scab i guess... its a pea sized flake of skin that wont come off...

done all of the above... artist isnt new, been around and did my other one 5 years ago...

oh, ok, well if it's just a flake of skin, even though it's annoying, just let it fall off on its own... if it gets too tchy, slap it. I know it sounds stupid, but lightlt slap the tat, that'll make the itch subside for a while. Or use some lotion that has some type of cortisone in it...

I think it's normal for a tattoo to scab a little. Just don't pick at it. Use unscented lotion if it feels dry, but don't use Polysporin or Vaseline or anything like that because it will draw out the pigment. If a little big of pigment is lost the artist should be happy to retouch it for ya.
