New PT, help

Hello guys, well I am about to get in with my local gym to get trained to become a PT. I have been working out over the past 10 years to keep good health and thought I would make a career change to become a PT and amybe open my own PT business. What I would like to know is what cerification are out there and what do they mean?

There are many threads on this forum about certifications for becoming a PT including the NSCA.
