New Platinum Idea - Chat Is Dead!!!!

I think its safe to say everyone agrees the chat room is usually dead. Why not give all EF members access to the chat room to get it jumping and give Platinum members our own chat room, like the private and public boards? Mabye dont offer private chats to non platinum members? That will get some action in the chat room. Its a great idea, the chat room, but it sucks because nobody is ever in it.

Chat Room

It is dead. There are no frills and you don't know who you are talking to in there. I agree it sucks

Ok, I'm all ears. I see about 10 people in there right now, and if you double click one of their names, you can private chat with them.

That is a good point. All you have to do is double click to start a private chat. Even if they are not "in" the room, but its minimized. That is cool.

well lets see...........The chat has NEVER worked for me since it was started. I just get a white box with another tiny box in the corner and nothing else. This only happens on this puter though. WHen I use friends puters then I can see the chat room. I really don't know what the problem is.

Since the chat program is Java based, it's probably an issue with what exists Java wise on the brokee computer. Not that you are missing much with the chat...
