New Overhead Exercise...

Didn't feel much like training yesterday but went through it anyway...

I did do a different exercise that I like a lot. My highest safety pin in my rack is too low for overhead pressing and I don't have a back support...so I found a way to rig it up.

It helped a lot with the first few inches and then I had to do the press all by myself...this should help with my jerk a lot. I can jerk the weight off of my shoulders with my leg drive but the lockout is hard.

I also did some sup t bar rows with dbells on my incline bench...felt pretty good and I think that I am going to start doing them on a regular basis...and much heavier and harder.

Tried some towel chins too...and stopped on the 3rd rep when I heard the towel ripping...lol.

I also did some stone work...working on my hip "pop" when I do them. Time to hit the stones again...

Bfold always an inspiration... Shit the stone lift looked easy for you, where do you live again??? I think maybe I can make a drive from NY for this one

I need more practice on the stones...want to get my 320 in one motion...

shit 320lb damn that's almost twice my weight. I finally got down to 184lb from 210 lost a lot of blubber (stopped drinking). You wouldn't happen to having any stones ranging from 180-230 would ya??? Hmmm how far is your place from NYC, maybe I'll tank up the old diesel and take adrive down....

I have a 185 that is fun to play with. I have done a 404 stone a few times...I was just zapped yesterday.

Hell yeah I think its on!!! I am going to be finishing my MCAT"S soon and then I will have a feww weeks off untill my next semster, 185stone here I come....

I am on a rotation

this means I can't get out of it, or taske it off since it was already determined in my contract. I just start the job in the beginning of the summer. But if I have off I will make the drive in two days one stop in DC and then bright and early in Kentucky.... Lets pray my boss doesn't shaft me....

dude that sounds like it would be the most fun i have had in a while.

you know i get married the following saturday....... that would make for one heck of a road trip before i get the ole ball and chain connected........ oh....... im giddy just thinking about it.

I know i havent been around as much as i was in the past....... but if you'll have me....... i would love to come...... i may even be able to bring a friend.

c'mon what do you say....... could you use an extra pair of strapping yound 235+ pound fellas (primarily bodybuilders but like to lift heavy stuff too!?!?!?!?

b fold-have you ever tried overhead squats with two heavy dumbells?This might be a good exercise for your strongman training.The really hit your legs,hips,back and shoulders hard as well as helping you work on your balance and flexibility.

Man...come on up. From my last count...there will be about 10 or more strongmen here for the weekend. Some are coming from Florida and North Carolina to be here for the weekend. I believe that we will have at least one Pro strongman here that weekend too...and tons of equipment.

It will be a torture day of learning about event training, strength training, and everything in between. Please come...
