I have to wonder - how many of the hurricane "refugees" owned property? 'Cause if they were renters, then how on earth are they possibly entitled to more than a month's charitable relief, max? I mean, renters didn't lose anything except some possessions.

I mean, if my apartment building burned down tonight, I'd be out on my ass without so much as a "we're sorry". It would be my responsibility to find a new dwelling and replacements for my clothes and possessions, and if I were uninsured, I'd be shit out of luck. I fail to see the difference.
