New members don't forget to Flex

I didn't really pick up on it at the beginning, but Omega says we all need to be Flexing while doing our reps. For me I caught on way late to that idea, now just doing it and it makes a difference in getting bigger faster I believe as well as Omega agrees too ?

So as hard as it me feel you need to flex the muscles you are lifting with, plus the 2 second up and 2 second down count, with slow and nice form, and keep flexing while going through each rep. If you can handle that you will get faster results. Right ?

My first few times out I really sucked it up and stacked much less weight than usual so I could execute this... and I can already see some results after just one week. That hasn't ever happened to me, not ever. And I haven't been laid up in bed from leg day since I was in junior high.

Its completely different than lifting weights to perform work quickly or efficiently... this is bodybuilding

I love to flexing u can really feel the burn  .Also the last week of me sampling these routines have shown me that what i have done in the past has been very very wrong.I cant wait for tomorrow I finally get my own routine :chomp:

The two hardest bodyparts for me to flex while lifting are Chest and Shoulders, when I try to flex chest I end up flexing whole upper body, and shoulders too is difficult to isolate, any tips ?

Yeah you have to swallow your pride at the door, people look at you funny when you have such an intense workout with smaller amount of weight.

I have trouble with the shoulders too but the middle/rear delts in particular are a pain for me. Its not like other muscles where you flex or tense them and feel a range of control or intensity, my delts suck :worried: . I've been putting two fingers on the middle delts and tensing them just so I can remember where I should be trying to tense hardest

I think the chest just takes longer if you're having trouble there, you have to make sure your lats are spread correctly and focus on squeezing those titties together like you're trying to crack an egg in there for flies, or pushing up mountains on press. Its so much easier when you have to use this cadence and ROM too.

Sir D chest took Me too a long time, but Finally once the muscle mass started slowly building, it has become Easier an easier:)

When I say it took a Long time I mean like 1 year or so

This is not common, you and I just have that stubborness, but it will be Solved eventually. Now Chest always clicks for me..

Pride is useless in a gym thats how people get hurt in my opinion... I have learned the hard way from alot of injuries that pride is not everything in this world from sports to the gym just do ur best and everything will fall in place :mix: :mix:

Exactly Frizzy

and as one client stated:

" dont get me wrong I am stronger now, I feel like I can rip a phone book in half"

I have had many go back to conventional benching that their buddies do, and they fly right by them in about 2-3 workouts once they choose to do that movement again.

I for example was using Cybex - Bench press for One year:

I never went past 12-14 out of 20 or 25 little plates

YET! after year of not benching I repped out 225 like it was nothing.......

So what does that tell you about our training?

I like the philosophy. Get each muscle group brutally strong, and then compound lifts will fly up too.
How did you handle 225 before you used the cybex?
